Reuse should become something fun again and be seen as useful. It was already done in the Middle Ages. Old rags were exchanged for other goods and these were usually used until they were worn out. Disposal was almost non-existent. Nowadays, many products in our disposable society are seen as temporary and therefore quickly thrown away (for example, out of fashion).
Undesirable consequences of disposal include:
- A higher burden on the environment
- Waste of raw materials and energy
- Unnecessary waste accumulation and much more.
